Paella originates from the city of Valencia located on the South coast of Spain. Types of Paella include but not limited to: Velancian paella. Vegetable paella, seafood paella and mixed paella, among many others. Velancian paella is the official original recipe and consists of white rice, green beans, meat, a variety of green beans, saffron, rosemary and artichoke. Seafood paella replaces meat with seafood and adds beans and green vegetables. Mixed paella is a free-style combination of meat from land animals, seafood, vegetables and sometimes beans. Most chefs use bomba rice to avoid overcooking and Olive oil is always used when cooking Paella.
